Two fragments, printed as they stand. A Vigslist translation.
Shuila 7 scraps — two fragments of the Marduk šuila. The composition stands in English (Cooper, Iraq). K.5059 stands filed under Shibata's no. 13, its assignment to no. 7 unedited; BM.39873 is a cult-order fragment quoting the prayer's opening line.
Fragments, not a first. Šuila 7 stands in English (Cooper, Iraq) and in German (Maul; Shibata, HES 3 no. 7), and is excluded from any first-translation shelf. The two fragments below are printed as they stand: K.5059, which Shibata files under his no. 13 — its assignment to no. 7 is unedited — and BM.39873, a cult-order fragment that quotes the prayer’s opening line in a schedule.
What this file is, and what it is not. The šuila mu-lu e₂-a ku₄-ra-zu-ta, "the one who enters the house," to Marduk (eISL Shuila 7, Q009541) stands in English: Cooper edited the composition in "A Sumerian Šu-íl-la from Nimrud with a Prayer for Sin-Šar-Iškun," Iraq (Cambridge Core) — the Marduk text is the one he prints as edited there (Weissbach, Miscellen, pl. 13F and duplicates; incipit IV R 53 iii 54). The composition is therefore EXCLUDED from the never-translated shelf, and nothing in this file claims a first. What stands here is narrower and still real: two fragments tied to the composition that no edition of it prints — neither appears in Shibata's HES 3 manuscript list for no. 7 — surviving as scraps, and rendered here so the material is on the desk. A third witness in the same state, K.4933 (Shibata's ms D), was not rendered: its note says its transliteration "follows Maul's edition" (the German edition in Fs Borger, CM 10) — an edited witness, excluded from this file on that note.
Edition of record (composition): Shibata, Šuila, HES 3 (2021), no. 7, pp. 128–158 (German), after Maul's edition in Fs Borger (CM 10), pp. 160–170. English: Cooper, Iraq (see above). The witnesses Shibata used include BM.40600 (ms I), BM.41972 (with its join partner BM.42200), BM.38280 (ms G), and IM.67546 (ms C — the Nimrud tablet, CTN 4 no. 165, Cooper's own tablet). All four were dispositioned in this wave as edited witnesses and are not rebuilt here.
Museum number: K.5059, joined with K.5092 (Peterson, eBL) and K.9445 (Mitto, eBL). British Museum (Kuyunjik). Bilingual, Neo-Assyrian script, 11 inscribed lines. Photograph on the record. Source: eBL Fragmentarium's served transliteration (fetched live, Wave C7; ). 0 #tr.en lines. The record's own note: "K.5059+ K.5092 [JLP] transliteration of both fragments here —> Šuʾila, + K.9445(+)+ [TM], all of them to be added here." Its EDITION reference is Shibata HES 3 no. 13, pp. 359–360 — Shibata files the fragment under no. 13, but its closing line is this composition's incipit (line 11′ below), and no. 13's own incipit is lost (eISL gives it as "[...]"), so the fragment's assignment stands open on its face: a door, printed here, not smoothed. Counts: 7 units — 0 whole / 0 part / 7 fragment / 0 invented.

Museum number: BM.39873 (British Museum). Neo-Babylonian script. Photograph on the record. The British Museum catalogue (CTBM IV–V, p. 428) calls it simply "Incantation." Source: eBL Fragmentarium's served transliteration (fetched live, Wave C7; ). 0 #tr.en lines. The record's only note: "compare BM.39841 [TM]" — no edition reference of any kind. Why it stands here: the tablet is a cult-order fragment — its first preserved line carries the incipit's tail, e₂-a ku₄-ra-zu-ta, quoted in a performance schedule, and its next preserved section is an eršemma rubric naming Esagil, Marduk's temple. Stated as a record-level identification, not a composition claim. Counts: 3 units — 0 whole / 0 part / 3 fragment / 0 invented.

u 3 (colophon, line 5′). [...] x GABA#.RI# {giš}l[e-u₅-um ...] "… copy of a [writing-board …]" (fragment: the colophon's first word — GABA.RI, "copy" — survives; the tablet was copied from a wooden board)
Totals for this file: 10 units — 0 whole / 0 part / 10 fragment / 0 invented. No first-English claim of any kind attaches to this file — the composition stands in English (Cooper) and in German (Maul; Shibata); the two fragments rendered here are scraps tied to a published prayer, kept for the desk. Doors on the face: Shibata's filing of K.5059 under no. 13 (see Fragment A); the HES 3 eyeball for the manuscript lists; the eISL score page (Q009541), never served from this desk.
